Boilermaking, forming and welding
Boilermaking
We combine cutting, bending, rolling and welding to fabricate parts and assemblies in plate, from the drawing or the equipment design.
What we do
- Housings, covers, nozzles and supports
- Piping and spools
- Components of exchangers, vessels and tanks
- Plate parts to drawing

Materials
Capacity, maximum dimensions and lead time on request: send the drawing. See alloys in stock.
What boilermaking is
Boilermaking is the fabrication of parts and assemblies from plates, pipes and sections, combining cutting, bending, rolling, assembly and welding. In the process industries this includes housings, heads, nozzles, supports, piping spools and components of exchangers, vessels and tanks.
Boilermaking in stainless and special alloys
In stainless, duplex and nickel alloys, fabrication requires precautions that carbon steel does not: separate tools and area to avoid iron contamination of the material, control of heat input and interpass temperature in welding, a consumable matched to each alloy, and final cleaning or pickling to restore the passive layer. We supply the material from our stock, with 3.1 certificate, and fabricate in the same plant.
Integration with machining and testing
Flanges, nozzles and forged parts that go into the assembly are forged and machined by us. After welding, the part can receive stress relief and testing, and sealing surfaces are machined at the end, when necessary.
What to send with a quote request
Send the drawing of the assembly or the equipment design, the alloy and standard of the plates and forgings, the design code (if any), the quantity and the tests required. For complete equipment, also see the parts and equipment page.

Frequently asked questions
How do you avoid contamination of stainless in fabrication?
By using tools, discs and brushes dedicated to stainless, separating the work area from carbon steel and performing cleaning or pickling and passivation at the end. Embedded iron particles rust and start corrosion in stainless.
Do you manufacture complete equipment?
We manufacture parts, assemblies and equipment to design, such as coils, exchangers, tanks and mixers. Send the design or the need for us to evaluate.
Does Dustre perform this service on customer-supplied material?
Yes, as long as the alloy and the specification are defined. We can also supply the material from our stock, with EN 10204 3.1 certificate.
