About copper and copper alloys
Copper-nickels (90/10 and 70/30) resist seawater and biofouling in marine piping and heat exchangers. Aluminum bronzes (C63000, C95400) combine strength, wear and corrosion resistance in bushings, valves and propellers. Beryllium copper and chromium-zirconium copper combine conductivity with hardness, in welding electrodes, molds and non-sparking tools.
